Welcome to St. Francis Football Club

They may never lift the cup . . .

But they'll never forget who gave them the dream

In the Autumn of 1997 St. Francis Church Westborough founded St. Francis Football Club with the objective of providing football coaching and competition for the children of the local community of Westborough and Park Barn, in Guildford, regardless of ability.

Our mission is to have fun . . .

But at the same time, we are a serious club affiliated to the Surrey County Football Association and the Guildford Dioceses Football Association.  We are proud to be a licensed F.A. Mini-Soccer Centre . . . the only one in Guildford.

And, we have established links with several professional clubs including Fulham and Chelsea.

Nearly 150 boys and girls meet every Saturday morning at Kings College in Guildford for training supervised by qualified coaches and assistants.

Our teams compete in the Surrey Primary League and their cup competitions.  We also arrange a comprehensive schedule of friendly matches for those who do not regularly represent the club.

The club has an appointed Child Protection Officer, all coaches have been police checked and cleared to work with children, and all are trained in Emergency First Aid.

We also work hard to ensure that there is no racism or sexism in football.

So come on . . .
